Established in 1988, Lynx has changed the private hire industry and now boasts a professional and reliable service for moving people and parcels in Stockport. We are approximately 15 minutes from Manchester International Airport and 15 minutes from Manchester City Centre. With a large fleet of vehicles with satellite navigation as standard it is clear why we are ahead of the rest. Lynx on average is 33% cheaper than black cab taxis and thus are a genuine rival to their trade.
In addition to our private hire vehicles, we provide a mini bus service. We are able to offer you anything from a seven seater executive cruiser to a sixteen seater mini bus. It is a strict policy at Lynx, that all vehicles are clean and all our drivers are highly presentable. We operate a non-smoking policy in all vehicles which we find pleasing to drivers and customers alike.

We have heavily invested in a state of the art computerised satellite system. This highly advanced satellite system enables our operators to 'eliminate voice'. This means that whilst our customers are travelling, there is no noise transmitted from the driver's radio. The advantage of this being that no information is disclosed over the airwaves, ensuring complete security and peace of mind for all our customers and that passengers can enjoy a peaceful journey. The main advantage of the satellite system is that it allows us to operate 100% more efficiently, therefore ensuring a top class service. We receive an update from each vehicle every 30 seconds. This enables us to match the nearest car to the customer's pick up address. GPS ensures that your Lynx Taxi will be with you as soon as possible.

Lynx Taxis drivers have all passed a Stockport knowledge-style test. However, all of our vehicles are also equipped with satellite navigation to enable drivers to find any difficult addresses.
